Guided Cycle Ride Leader Training- Alwoodley
Join us for a fun and informative Cycle Ride Leader Training session at St John's Church. For seasoned cyclists who want to see more people getting around on their bikes, this event will equip you with the skills to lead group rides safely and confidently.
Cycle leader Allan Luxton has been leading Easy Rides in Roundhay for years, and has led inclusive 8-mile rides around Eccup reservoir here in Alwoodley for the past two years. We hope to find a group of leaders who live locally to lead rides around this route more often.
This is a great way to give back and encourage cycling. We hope that participants will agree to lead at least one ride over the year.
We also ask that participants shadow Allan on this led ride to put the skills into practice and learn the route.
