Join us for a Guided Contact Improvisation Jam, an inclusive dance session open to all levels. Contact Improvisation is a dynamic movement practice that emphasizes body awareness, connection with the floor, spatial exploration, and physical contact with others. Interactions can range from gentle touch to shared weight and improvised movement.No prior experience is necessary. We'll introduce fundamental principles through engaging exercises, games, and dance, focusing on somatics and connections with oneself, the floor, and fellow dancers.
