About this Event
If you have some experience with yoga, you are welcome to join the class and you are invited to modify as needed.
I will be guiding you through the first half of Yoga Chikitsa, the Primary Series of Ashtanga Yoga. The intention behind is to keep supporting you on your yoga Sadhana while nourishing each others practice by breathing and moving all-together. You will listen to the asana name, followed by the breath count and were to direct your gaze, all in Sanskrit. I will be giving movement cues so that you can follow accordingly. This is the way the practice has been shared since time immemorial.
Remember that a steady gaze leads to a steady breath and steady mind.
This isn’t a beginners class, but if you are new to yoga you are welcome to join our monthly Foundations Workshop or the weekly Mysore-style classes.
