Forest Home Cemetery, located in Forest Park, Illinois, is a historic burial ground established in 1876. It was one of the first cemeteries in the Chicago area to be non-sectarian, welcoming people of all faiths and backgrounds. The cemetery is renowned for its association with the labor movement, particularly as the final resting place of the Haymarket Martyrs, who were involved in the 1886 Haymarket Affair—a pivotal event in the history of labor rights in the United States.
Over the years, Forest Home Cemetery has become a symbol of social justice and a place of remembrance for many notable figures, including activists, artists, and early Chicago settlers. The cemetery is also known for its diverse array of monuments, gravestones, and mausoleums, which reflect the rich cultural history of the region.
All proceeds go to Scouts Troop 107
