In honor of Disability Awareness Month, ASYVC welcomes guest speaker Alex Locust, a disability justice educator, activist and self-described “Glamputee.” Locust brings bold insight and lived experience to conversations about disability justice, allyship and intersectionality. His talks are known for their humor, honesty and cultural humility, offering real talk—no fluff—on how to build inclusive communities and challenge ableism. Locust will present at 11 a.m. in Grandview (SAC) and at 1:30 p.m. in Yakima (HUB). Free pizza, salad and drinks provided.
