Jean-Luc Marion raises seminal questions within philosophy, ethics and theology in this public lecture at the University of Oslo.Jean-Luc Marion is a leading European intellectual, professor of philosophy at Sorbonne and the University of Chicago and a member of the Académie Française. His studies of Descartes and phenomenology are widely recognized, and his inquires on love, the gift and saturated phenomena are intriguing and thought-provoking.
Marion has been honored to give the first-ever Fosse lecture. "Heteronomy and Autonomy" is the only lecture open to a general audience during his visit to Oslo.
