Guest Lecture with Bob Cheshire

Come join us for an exciting guest lecture with Bob Cheshire, an award-winning film concept artist. He’s worked on some of the most celebrated titles and biggest studio properties in commercial cinema from Star Wars and Blade Runner (2099) to Jurassic World, including Jurassic World: Rebirth starring Scarlett Johansson, released this summer on July 2nd. He’s worked on many titles for Marvel including Avengers Endgame and Infinity War, the Doctor Strange movies and Guardians of the Galaxy to name a few.

Most recently Bob’s completed work on Project Hail Mary, based on the Andy Weir novel and starring Ryan Gosling, to be released March 2026. He’s currently working on Spider-Man 4, in production at Pinewood.

Bob is a Falmouth (Fine Art) alumnus and taught art in secondary schools for nearly 10 years after graduating. He has been a concept artist for nearly 20 years, starting off creating concepts for theme parks and attractions around the world, 5 years in the games industry and the rest in film and TV.
