"The award winning Head Chef has been at the helm of culinary innovation for the last fifteen years.
From humble beginnings at the Angel Hotel (Market Harborough, Leicester), Jon has always been passionate for his craft, first learning to cook with his Nan at the age of 10. Jon has worked his way up to leading teams of talented, hardworking Chef’s delivering unforgettable fine dining experiences.
Jon became Head Chef for the first time at age 27 at the Two Rosette restaurant Chadwicks Inn, Maltby. This was Jon’s introduction to the world of fine dining, starting as Junior Sous Chef and progressing to Head Chef and part owner of the establishment.
A pivotal moment in Jon’s career can be seen in his work at the Blue Lion in East Witton, where he spent 5 years finding and perfecting his appetite for French Classic cuisine. This is where Jon also began his foray into cooking shows and demonstrations which he has carried through the rest of his career.
Jon can be found today at the Feversham Arms Hotel in Helmsley, North Yorkshire where he continues to be excited by his work and remains eager to continually improve and evolve."
