A LITTLE ABOUT ERIC:
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Eric found a safe place in the culinary world, where he can express himself.

Eric has 14+ years’ experience in the restaurant scene, along with his own personal at-home studies, but it was his time as a national trainer for P.F. Chang’s that he credits as one of the reasons why he chose to focus on dumplings.

PGH Dumplingz produces about 4,000-5,000 dumplings a week! Eric alone can make 300 in about two hours.

His ultimate goal for PGH Dumplingz would be a brick and mortar location to support the growing wholesale side of the business. In the meantime, you’ll find them popping up across the city at various events and supplying local restaurants, among other things.

When asked about his most unique dumpling creation to date, he mentioned a Thanksgiving Bao Bun, a play on the famous Mad Mex “Gobblerito”.

Unfamiliar with "pop ups"?
A pop-up is like a temporary store or restaurant that appears in a location, operates for a limited time, and then moves on, popping up elsewhere. It's similar to a food truck that parks in different locations around town, serving its food for a few hours before moving on to the next spot, but without the actual truck.

The concept of pop-up businesses has become popular in recent years because they offer several benefits. The pop-up concept allows entrepreneurs start their business ventures with minimal investment and risk, allowing for some flexibility and creativity, while they test out new business ideas or products.

PLEASE NOTE that this a fixed menu, and while we do our best to accommodate guests regarding food allergies, menu substitutions may not be possible. If you have food allergies and would still like to attend, please contact us before purchasing your tickets to make sure we can accommodate.
