October 30th, 2024, Brooke was in a devastating motorcycle accident when riding passenger with a very close friend on the outskirts of Chicago. When arriving at the University of Chicago Medicine, Brooke was in critical condition, fighting very hard for her life. After three surgeries and a prolonged stay there, Brooke was then sent to Shirley Ryan, a rehabilitation hospital in Chicago. After being sent home, Brooke will continue to have outpatient therapy 5 times a week, along with weekly appointments, and still having surgeries to go. Brooke has accrued many medical expenses, household bills, traveling expenses, and loss of wages. Bri will be bartending for TIPS to donate towards the Brooke Durbin Fundraiser.
