Comedian and Type One diabetic Patric Ciervo hosts Guess My Blood Sugar: The Drinking Game Show!
Watch three comedians get quizzed on diabetes management and how it's represented in pop culture. Each comedian starts out with a a blood sugar of 100. Get the question wrong and their sugar will not only go up by 20 but they'll also have to take a drink as directed by a drink card. The comedian with the highest blood sugar at the end of the game loses. Though fear not, because at any point contestants can bring their blood sugar down - legally we can not give them shots of insulin, so to bring down sugars comedians can take shots of hot sauce. Comedians and audience members will leave with a strong buzz and a stronger understanding about the reality of Type One diabetes.
