Galdr, the magic songs of the North
In this workshop Gudrun will introduce you to galdr. What is galdr, where do we know them from.
Gudrun will sing some examples of known galdrs, and in the end you are going to sing along. Both with intuitive singing, but Gudrun will also teach you a couple of galdrs.
Gudrun Victoria Gotved
Born in 1964, she has been a follower of Ásatrú and spiritually inclined since childhood. Co-founder of "Forn Siðr, Asa and Vanetrú Community in Denmark" and co-founder of the religious community "Nordisk Skik". She has served as a ritual officiant for over 25 years, being called a völva for over 20 years. She has been employed as a völva at the Ribe Viking Center for over 15 years and has worked with the wisdom of the runes for just as long. Well-versed in various Norse source texts, knowledgeable in herbalism, a healer, lecturer, author, and debater.
