About this Event
Please join us for our in-town, indoor lecture series!
With changing hydrology, invasive species, and other threats, few wild spaces go unaffected by humans. To restore and maintain our wild spaces we must manage the land using both modern and primitive tools such as herbicides and prescribed fire, respectively. Join in to learn about the complexities of restoration and land management to combat human impact on our wild Floridian lands with land manager, Julie Motkowicz.
Julie Motkowicz is a Land Manager for Lee County Conservation 20/20, managing several preserves within CREW (Corkscrew Regional Ecosystem Watershed).
Light refreshments start at 2:30 pm, Lecture will be 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
