The SHCCC is proud to be launching a new program, the Guardian Circle; which will be hosted by Trans-Activist and SHCCC Executive Director, Corey Hunter. This program will be hosted on the second and fourth Saturday of each month, from 2pm-4pm, at the Sexual Health Centre (*day/time is subject to change depending on participant availability). The Guardian Circle is a closed-door group which will offer a supportive, judgement-free atmosphere for parents, guardians, and supports of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth to come together as Allies. Sessions will promote learning about gender and sexuality, exploring parenting resources for guardians of 2SLGBTQIA+ youth, and opportunities for parents/guardians to discuss their experiences with peers and professionals.
