School Tours offer a fun and educational program designed for young people to learn about the fair, rodeo, livestock and the important role agriculture plays in the economy. All students are guided around the fairgrounds by local 4-H and FFA high school tour guides where the students get a taste of Texas heritage and witness first-hand the fun and excitement offered at the Guadalupe County Fair and Rodeo!
Tours schedule sign ups will start in August 2025. Students will visit a number of areas such as Davenport Farm Animal Barnyard, Texas Ag in the Classroom Education station, Horse station, the Baby Chick station, Texas Wildlife Association Discovery Trunk station, Reading station, and the Dietz Tractor station, where they will learn more about agriculture through interactive activities. Classes will get the opportunity to pet real live animals and will be led by students with knowledge on the importance of agriculture who are able to explain that to your classroom!
