About this Event
It’s not “just a lease” – there are many local, state, and federal laws guiding and affecting the leasing of residential property but many license holders do not encounter these in their pre-licensing education. This survey-level course provides an overview of the major considerations for listing agents and their landlords, with an emphasis on single-family units and properties being converted from owner-occupancy to rental. The target audience is residential real estate agents who are stepping into leasing on the fly, but all license holders who deal with leases will benefit from the knowledge gained. Participants will learn the steps necessary to guide their Landlord clients through the leasing process and will leave with a checklist to guide their future lease transactions.
