Programme designed for postgraduate research students involved in teaching and supporting student learning
About this Event

GCU is committed to providing an excellent student learning experience. If you are a postgraduate research student involved in teaching and student learning we have an introductory skills development series to support you to deliver this, and to help you feel confident in your learning and teaching. The series aims to give you an understanding of effective teaching and some practical skills to support your teaching practice and development.

The GTA series comprises a variety of synchronous, asynchronous and on campus learning opportunities and experiences. The series runs between 13 May and 31 May 2024, with tutorials taking place on 15/5/24, 17/5/24, 22/5/24 and 24/5/24.

Your expected time commitment is approximately 10 hours. This includes the completion of a reflective ‘Record of Learning’. On completion of the series you will receive a Certificate of Completion to demonstrate you have met the University’s expectations for GTA teaching preparation.

Places are limited to 30 so register soon to secure your place!
