Grown-Up Book Fair

We are stoked to announce that we’re teaming up with our June non-profit of the month The POP Project to bring you the Whaleastic Grown-Up Book Fair, coming to The Whale on Saturday, June 15th from 1-5pm. ::

We’ve got a line-up of incredible vendors helping us bring this nostalgia-packed event to life. :: Come browse books from Malaprops Bookstore, Chapters Book Stop, Blue Moon Books, Firestorm Co-op, and Lit Local Books. ::

The book fair wasn’t complete without its little trinkets for sale, so know we’ve got bookish artists and makers Two T's Creative, Finn and The Whale, and Infoglassics on the line-up.

The fun doesn’t stop there! :: We’ll have a table for local authors to meet and greet you all and sign books! :: Catch Kristin Dwyer author of Some Mistakes Were Made from 1-2pm, Nikki Jefford from 2-3, and Anne-Fitten Glenn author of Western North Carolina Beer from 4-5pm. ::

The POP Project provides books to those who need them! :: There’s no price of admission but we do ask if you have a book in their most needed genres (kids' books, Spanish language, and Black history) that you bring it to donate! :: You’ll also be able to round up your bar tab to show your support to them! ::
