Schedule and Format
This class consists of lectures and practice. The instructor will provide a brief introductory talk about his background as a social media content creator and community builder. Cover key concepts to building and growing your social media presence.
During this lecture, students will be encouraged to workshop through main points, and time will be allowed at the end to answer any questions they may have.
Materials
Attendees are encouraged to bring materials to take notes and to have access to their social media accounts.
About the Instructor
Javier Gonzalez (better know as Javi Glz) is a full-time photographer and artist based in Austin, Texas. Javi’s passion for photography and community inspired him to create @igaustintexas Austin’s Instagram community account to build community amongst local creatives. IgAustinTexas features local creatives and, in a pre-covid time, would host photo walks. Javi became a suggested user by Instagram in 2015. Since then, Javi has created content for social media campaigns and participated in Influencer campaigns through his personal and community accounts.
