Growing Your Allotment

Allotments can be overwhelming and it's often tough to find practical help and advice to get you going or even keep you going!

This course aims to do that. We will begin with looking at some soil and how if you get that right everything will fall into place, and continue with looking at raised beds, growing in the soil, no dig principles and how to make it work for you, as well as composting, sowing and planting. Plus you'll meet other people in the same position as you and be able to learn from each other.

As with anything, confidence is key to growing your own food and we all get it wrong or are confused from time to time, so this is a day where we will hone your skills and build your confidence. Why not join us?
