Come and join us on us for a forage / walk on Growing Wild Community Allotment and around Hollins and Jubilee Woods in 'Beautiful Baxenden' with Pete Compo from Pendle Plant Craft (11-1) . Then, back to Haworth Art Gallery (1-3) where we'll be busy getting started with our wildflower seed sowing and you can find out more about our ambitions to create a wildflower meadow - helping increase the biodiversity for the much needed Super Hero Pollinators that need every bit of help with numbers in decline. This is the beginning of a year long project funded by The Windfall Fund - EnergieKontor. We are lucky to have lots of guidance and support for the meadow creation and growing side of things from Hyndburn Butterfly Project's Chris Atherton. It's going to be a fantastic collaboration - we'll have other specialists and experts providing activities and inspiration during the project. Are you going to be part of the good work? Meet at the front of Haworth Art Gallery at 11 for the walk / forage or come along at 1pm for seed sowing; more information about the project and how YOU can be part of the project - up in the Education Room. Please wear clothes for a walk and be aware that the walk will cover uneven, wet, muddy, slopes and steps etc.. All ages welcome. No need to pre-book.
