About this Event
Born in Cali, Colombia, Oscar's family moved to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida when he was just seven years old. Being one of the only Colombians (and Latinos) in his white American neighborhood was a really traumatizing experience for him. Additionally, he was shipped off to an all-black school system where he also didn't fit in. All of this misplacement began to shape his mind into one that was constantly comparing the cultural, racial and ethnic differences. All of this began the road to humor and constant stand-offs with his parents who were always threatening to send him back to Colombia. "SI NO SE COMPORTA, LO MANDO PA' COLOMBIA!"
Years of crazyness led to the creation of this show. Don't miss a great night of laughter!
This show is in English with some Spanish.
Oscar began his comedy career as an intern on Late Night with Conan O'Brien in the spring semester of 2001 while at the University of Florida. He has gone on to travel the world sharing his stories, experiences and points of view. Oscar lives in Harlem, New York City. You can follow him across all social media platforms at @colombiancomic
