<h4>Grow food under cover - FREE events!</h4>Do you have an indoor growing space such as a greenhouse, polytunnel or conservatory?TCV, funded by Leicester City Council, is running a series of free workshops on how to use your indoor space for growing food. The sessions are suitable for adults regardless of gardening ability or knowledge! You can reserve a place by emailing [email protected] - or just turn up on the day.
The Tomatoes Strike Back - Monday 17th June, 1-3pmThis second workshop will look at aftercare of your growing crops, from cucumbers, tomatoes and tomatillos, to greenhouse grown salads and fruits. We will spend some time looking at different methods of growing and the advantages and disadvantages of each, as well as making our own liquid feed.
Return of the Tomatoes - Monday 1st July 1-3pmThe final workshop in the series will look at how to keep your plants healthy, and harvesting and using your produce. We will look forward to the Autumn when the summer crops are cleared and learn about what edible crops can be grown later in the season in your greenhouse or polytunnel.
The sessions will NOT be led by Luke Skywalker or Princess Leia - sorry!
