Educate Texas is hosting a daylong event on October 16, 2025, focused on expanding teacher apprenticeships across Texas.
About this Event

The growing needs of the teacher workforce offers immense opportunity to grow teacher apprenticeships throughout Texas especially with the new funding from this last legislative session. Educate Texas will host this daylong event to bring together partners exploring teacher apprenticeships and hoping to get efforts started.

We will identify challenges and opportunities for learning and sharing with partners that are implementing a registered apprenticeship program for teaching. This workshop will include presentations by Dallas College to share their work with Center for Reigniting the Educator Workforce (CREW), EdFirst sharing Teacher Apprenticeship Landscape research, and a workshop led by edwell on building a workplan for teacher apprentices in Texas.
