Join Mike Essam for this hands-on class and demonstration where you'll gain technical skills regarding mushroom propagation at home.Mike is passionate about making mushroom growing accessible, and will teach you how to utilize materials you may already have at home for your future mushroom grows; making your new hobby more cost effective.
Mike will also discuss the process of extending the life of your mushrooms with an outdoor garden coffee pile.
Each participant will receive a kit to grow Blue Oyster mushrooms at home. Logs for plugging will also be available for purchase for an additional $25 per log.
Weather permitting, this class will be held outdoors.
Dress accordingly for Colorado Springs weather.
Class fee is $75.00 per person.

This class lasts roughly 2 hours, depending on questions.
Please bring your own note taking materials.
Mike Essam has been a commercial grower in the past, and is a former president of the Pikes Peak Mycological Society.
He is also very active in the mushroom foray community.
