Join us and Todd Western of Freedom Farms MPLS for an evening learning about growing microgreens at home! We will be gathering at the McKinley Neighborhood Association (3300 Lyndale Ave North) to learn about the process of growing this nutrient-dense super food, microgreens. Todd and his family live and run their urban farm in North Minneapolis and sell microgreens to restaurants and at farmer's markets around the Twin Cities.
We will start the class with a brief presentation about what microgreens are, the homegrowing process and what supplies you will need. The class will then finish with a question and answer and an optional opportunity to purchase microgreens to take home.
