About our food sponsor:
Legacy Taste of the Garden LLC is a family-owned farm based in Princeton, Indiana, dedicated to empowering individuals and communities through education, networking, and information on healthy, sustainable living. Their mission focuses on promoting food sufficiency, nutrition, and access, aiming to help communities thrive. The Jamerson family, founders of Legacy Taste of the Garden, actively participates in local events across Indiana, sharing their generational knowledge of sustainable and entrepreneurial living.

One of their key initiatives is organizing the annual Black Loam Conference, which serves as a platform for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) farmers, producers, and agricultural entrepreneurs. The conference focuses on sustainable farming practices and offers opportunities to enhance agricultural operations.

The third annual Black Loam Conference was held on November 1 and 2, 2024, at the historic Madam Walker Legacy Center in Indianapolis, featured sessions on leveraging local, state, and federal conservation programs, as well as workshops on financial and business management. These events aim to build agricultural relationships and provide networking opportunities, introducing attendees to USDA programs and other resources to support their farming endeavors.
