🌳Growing Home🌳 presents:
🌸Beltane at Buck Creek Sanctuary🌸
Beltane, the midpoint between the Spring Equinox and the Summer Solstice, marks the peak of spring. Days are getting longer and warmer, trees and flowers are in bloom, animals are raising their young, and the mood is exuberant and joyful. It’s the perfect time to gather with our community, to laugh, dance, play, learn, and connect. Join us April 25-27 at Buck Creek Sanctuary for our own unique take on this ancient holy day.
We’ll spend the weekend immersed in nature, basking in the beauty and tranquility of the Sanctuary, and coming together for a variety of workshops and activities themed around gardening, nature, fertility, children, and community. We’ll also have kids’ activities, a blanket market, a maypole dance, yoga, sound baths, a ritual bonfire, music, and more! We hope you can join us!

As always with our Growing Home events, our choices of offerings are informed by our Four Pillars:
🌹Robust Health
🌿Connection with Nature
🐝Resilient Community, and
🦋Exploring the Mystery of Existence

What is the blanket market?
So many people in our community make and provide various goods and services, and this is an opportunity for everyone to share what they have to offer in a very casual setting. We invite all attendees of the event to bring a blanket and set up shop for a few hours on Saturday. You can have physical goods, or provide body work, readings, or whatever else you do. You can sell, barter, or gift your offerings. Whatever you prefer. If you provide a skilled service, bring your business card and share what you do!
What is a Maypole dance?
The Maypole dance is a Beltane tradition in many communities. The Maypole is a tall post with ribbons attached to the top and often decorated with flowers. Community members each take one of the ribbons and dance in opposite directions around the maypole, creating a pattern wrapped around the pole. The dance represents the balance of masculine and feminine, fertility, and good health.
What workshops and activities will there be?
There will be so many awesome workshops and activities! Check back closer to the event date for the schedule.
