GROWING BACKYARD BERRIES

Growing Backyard Blueberries, Blackberries, & Raspberries

Come learn how to cultivate your own berries in your backyard!

Have fun learning organic farming techniques hands-on.

Cost: $40/adult, $20/kid (8-16)

$65/2 adult family members (same household)

This workshop is ideal for ages 8+.

This 2 hour outdoor class will include:

- tour of our farm operation (45 min)

- information session on growing berries (45 min)

- Q&A debrief session (15 min)

Participants can purchase a Berry Starter Kit* for $40 which includes:

- bag of organic compost

- 3-5 berry plants (grown here!)

- organic starter fertilizer

*Starter kit sold separately from class.

You will need to bring:

- gardening gloves

- hat (optional)

- water/drinks, snacks

- close-toed footwear (no sandals, please)

- notepad (optional)

- sunscreen

Farmer Larry will be instructing this class.

No experience needed!

This workshop is limited to 8-12 participants.
