About this Event
We would like to invite you to join Inverclyde Council, VisitScotland and Greenock Cruise Port on the morning of Tuesday 18 November for an event focused on the business growth opportunities for those in our tourism industry.
Inverclyde businesses have good prospects for growth, particularly by tapping the opportunities of both our cruise market and also increasing demand, especially from international visitors, for authentic experiences in the wider Glasgow City Region.
Scotland’s annual B2B travel trade event, VisitScotland Expo, will return to the SEC in Glasgow in April of 2026 and 2027, increasing the appetite of tour operators and travel agents for new, bookable experiences in the west of Scotland. VisitScotland will join us to discuss some of the ways, big and small, for you to take advantage of this and other national activity.
We’re delighted to be joined at the event by Allison McGuire, Head of Operations at Greenock Cruise Port, on the opportunities of the cruise market. We’ll also have a presentation from Chis Bateman, Inverclyde Council’s Greenock Town Fund Manager.
The event is fully funded, but we do ask that you register in advance. A full agenda will be available soon.
We look forward to seeing you on the 18th November.
