About this Event
This introductory class will be held outdoors at Common Ground Community Garden in Panama Park. It will be taught by UF IFAS Extension Duval County Master Gardener Volunteers. The class will be informal and is geared to anyone who would like to learn the basics about how to grow strawberries in northeast Florida.
Class fee is $5.00 and includes 3 bare-root strawberry plants to take home. Pre-registration is required.
Bring a folding chair if you can, bring water, and dress for the weather--hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, bug spray.
This event is part of a series of gardening classes to be held at Common Ground during Fall 2024. You can attend even if you can't attend the others.
Please note: Recording the presentation, either video or audio, is not permitted unless written permission is provided by the educator.
