Join us on March 1st for our second session of our Grow Your Own! series, a deep dive into "How to Sow and Grow Tomatoes, Potatoes, Carrots, Brassicas & Peas!"Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just starting out, this session will equip you with everything you need to cultivate these essential crops successfully. Additionally, you'll learn how to assess your available space for optimal crop selection, discover the art of sowing ornamental sweet peas, master potting on seedlings, prepare outdoor soil, and implement frost protection methods.
Embark on a horticultural journey with our Grow Your Own! series. Learn expert tips and insights, all showcased in our very own "Grow Your Own" bed on our allotment, running from early February to June, you'll be able to revisit each month for new relevant tasks and plants to focus on, and to see the progress the bed has made since the last talk!
These talks are once again hosted in our Yurt by passionate garden enthusiast, Sam (@happy_place_gardener). Each talk is scheduled in for one hour with a Q&A at the end, however, please note that our talks with Sam last year regularly ran over with all of your questions!
