Grow Your Business – Tourism Hack with IMPACT Torbay

Kick off 2025 with creativity, collaboration and innovation at the IMPACT Torbay Tourism Hack, the first of a series of free workshops offered by Torbay Council, delivered in partnership with the English Riviera BID Company, as part of Grow Your Business, a tourism support programme designed to transform the tourism industry in the English Riviera.

The session will bring together all voices in the English Riviera tourism industry, big and small. The aim of the ‘Hack’ is to explore partnerships and collaborations within the group, allow you all to meet and find out more about each other, expand your networks and explore ways you can work together in a practical way.

This will be a fun, practical and engaging session - a chance for you to share your own ideas and thoughts, that you can take away to action!

The session is led by Studio Zao, an innovation and business consultancy who have been working with numerous businesses across the English Riviera as part of the IMPACT Torbay programme. IMPACT Torbay has already supported dozens of local businesses across multiple sectors, including tourism, hospitality, creative and construction to come up with and implement innovative ideas, products and services.

Please note this workshop is only available to Torbay tourism businesses who are paying the ERBID levy.

Session Details

The session will be in a ‘hack’ format, where participants will engage with the challenges and opportunities you face in the English Riviera tourism industry in structured but open-ended ways.
The hack will expand your network, give you fresh ideas about what travelers to the English Riviera want and need, and help expand your thinking when it comes to embracing new ideas and overcoming barriers.
Leave with a set of brand new ideas to implement and exciting avenues for cooperation with your peers.

We’ve aligned our Investment Plan to Torbay’s Economic Growth Strategy 2022-30, ensuring that economic growth is prioritised and achieved in a sustainable way that protects our naturally inspiring bay.
