Join the Avon Wildlife Trust team at Grow Wilder, to welcome in your weekend with inspiration, food, and connection from our (hopefully) sunny outdoor kitchen.
This free event is open to all and is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Grow Wilder and hear our plans for the future. It’s also a perfect time to visit as the site will be in full bloom for the summer.
We will also be celebrating the current 'graduates' of our flagship Grow Leader course. This 19-week deep dive into agroecological skills, personal growth and community leadership has kick-started many green careers and we’ll be sharing more information and taking registrations for the next course which starts in August.

You will also be able to find out more about options for hiring spaces at Grow Wilder for your special event, party, or meeting, and our wildflower nursery shop will be open late.

Getting here:
We actively promote sustainable transport and are well connected to walking, cycling and bus routes. Check out the Frome Valley route from Eastville Park to Snuff Mills and you may spot a kingfisher or otter on your way in.
By bus:
M1, M3, M4, 46, 19 and 50. The Metrobus is only 10 mins from the city centre. There are bus stops surrounding the site, all within a moment’s walk to the entrance.
By car:
If coming by car, please use Begbrook Social Club which is 50 metres past our entrance (BS16 1HY). Please no parking onsite- we only have a small carpark which is reserved for works vehicles and people with mobility needs (please let us know if you want to reserve a space).
