Join us for an inspiring Eco Talk with Arowhenua Native Nursery and Restoration, exploring how native plantings can bring life and balance back to our landscapes.Discover the powerful role native plants play in attracting beneficial insects — from pollinators that boost crops and orchards, to predators and parasitic insects that provide natural pest control. This talk is especially relevant to crop and dairy farmers looking to work with nature, but home gardeners will also take away valuable insights.
The presentation draws on current research, and additional resources and links will be available for those who want to learn more.
7pm – 9pm, speaker, Q and A, finishing with supper.
There will be a cover charge of $5 for this event to go towards supper.
Thank you for your support!
This event is part of the South Canterbury Eco Centre’s monthly “Eco Talks”. During the first week of most months we aim to have a presenter, followed by supper. These sessions will be a minimum of $5 per person and can be booked via our website.
