Join the Alabama Forestry Foundation and Huntsville Botanical Garden for a Project Learning Tree teacher training designed to bring learning to life. Step outside and explore hands-on, standards-aligned activities that encourage curiosity, movement, and real-world connections. Through interactive lessons and outdoor learning experiences, educators will build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to integrate environmental education into their classrooms. Participants will explore PLT’s interdisciplinary curriculum and gain practical strategies for engaging students in forests, natural resources, and environmental stewardship—while staying aligned with state educational standards. Teachers will leave with classroom-ready resources they’ll love using right away. 5 hours of TEAMS/AMSTI credit available.Link to register: https://member.alaforestry.org/events/EventDetails.aspx?id=2036283&group=
