These workshops focus on practical strategies for business success.
Each event brings together a dynamic group of aspiring, established, and new business owners throughout the year.
These workshops are tailored to address the unique challenges faced by women-owned businesses, offering practical insights and tools for growth, emphasizing efficiency (working smarter, not harder), and creating better work/life balance.
The theme for each event is:
GROW = Growth. Relationships. Outreach. Work-life balance.
Growth: Teaching real strategies to help women build a business that they love.
Relationships: Emphasizing the importance of building strong support systems and networks.
Outreach: Highlighting the community impact and support for local causes.
Work-life Balance: Teaching strategies for balancing business responsibilities with personal life.
Each workshop gives back to local nonprofits that support women and children. This event will help Tuscaloosa Safe Center.
Who are our events for?
1) Aspiring/New Entrepreneurs and Business Owners: Women at the beginning stages of their business journey, eager to learn the essentials of business and entrepreneurship. You are looking for guidance, inspiration, and practical strategies to turn your business ideas into reality and reach your goals.
2) Established Entrepreneurs and Business Owners: Women seeking advanced insights to grow and scale their businesses. You value opportunities for networking, learning about new marketing trends, and enhancing your business skills and knowledge.
3) Women seeking better work/life balance: Women focused on creating efficient, manageable business practices that give them their time back. You are interested in tools and strategies for achieving a better balance between your work and personal responsibilities.
The Venue:
Built in 1837, the Historic Drish House seamlessly blends historic charm with modern amenities. Nestled in the heart of the city, this circa 1837 mansion offers a truly unique setting for our workshops, allowing space for lunch, small group breakout sessions, and more.
Community Impact:
Attendees will purchase raffle tickets to win raffle prizes. 100% of raffle ticket funds will go towards the designated nonprofit organization. Attendees will also be encouraged to bring an item on the organizations wish list for an additional raffle ticket upon check-in. We will also have select women-owned product-based businesses set up for shopping throughout the day. 50% of vendor fees will go to the designated organization.
This Fall, we are supporting Easterseals West Alabama's Nurse-Family Partnership program.
