Curves N Hoops, is a movement and wellness initiative that empowers women through low-impact fitness, confidence-building classes, and community-centered events. We focus on creating inclusive spaces where movement is fun, sustainable, and empowering for all body types.
As spring approaches, join us for Grow & Flow: A Two-Part Series on Cultivating Food, Movement & Community. This event blends gardening, movement, and networking to encourage growing our own food, relieving stress, and building community. Egg prices are already high—cucumbers could be next! But as long as the sun is shining, we can start a garden in any space we have!
What’s Grow & Flow?
It’s a two-part workshop series designed to help participants start their own small urban gardens while incorporating hula hooping for relaxation and fun. Here’s what we have planned:
📅 Session 1: April 26, 2025 – We’ll plant seeds using Burpee 36-cell self-watering greenhouse starter kits and learn the basics of urban gardening. (self-watering greenhouses and seeds provided with the purchase of hula hoop+ greenhouse ticket).
📅 Session 2: May 10, 2025 – We will re-convene with our greenhouses, check on our seedlings, and begin to transplant or seedlings into the planter, bucket, or container of your choice. You may bring your own planter (be creative) or purchase a bucket at check-out.
The objective for both sessions is to engage in activities that promote wellness, allows for us to destress, soothes anxiety, and encourages free movement and nature. This is an activity the whole family could engage in!
