Group ride along quiet roads and cycle paths (NCN Route 15) to loop via villages Plumbtree & Ruddington. All Women Welcome.Join us for a leisurely 16 mile women's bike ride. A loop from Nottingham train station riding out along National Cycle Network Route 15 along the River Trent, heading south through quiet lanes to Plumbtree and Ruddington then back through Wilford.
We welcome women of all ages, abilities and backgrounds, we ride at the pace of the slowest rider, stop for breaks whenever you want and promise you will never be alone at the back! One of us will lead, and another will stay at the back so we stick together as a group.
Meet us at 10am by Nottingham Train Station, by the bike stands opposite Tesco.
A s always, they'll be plenty of short stops for snacks and chats but we'll have a longer break at Lakeside Cafe at Rushcliffe country park so please bring enough food and water to get you at least 12 miles!

You'll be in safe hands. We are qualified ride leaders, confident cyclists and a mechanic and first aider will be there also. Before and during the ride we will be sharing all the tips and tricks to get the most out of cycling.
This ride is organised by Women in Tandem, a Community Interest Company based in Nottingham that aims to support and empower women to ride bikes. This ride is funded by Sustrans and Sport England which is why on the order form we are asking for your postcodes to help us write our funding report.
You won't need anything fancy; just a bike that rides, comfortable weather-appropriate clothing, water, snacks and some enthusiasm for cycling!
Note this ride is for self-identifying women only.
This session is funded by Cycling UK's Big Bike Revival project and they have asked us to securely collect names and emails (as registered on eventbrite) but let us know if you do not want your email passes on. They will send one follow up email with a short survey where you can write what a brilliant time you had with us. This helps us secure more funding to keep rides free and regular - thanks in advance.
