Practice your photography in a fun group setting! We will walk around downtown to practice our photography as a group. It's a good opportunity to try out street, architecture, portrait, abstract, and other types of photography.
This Group Photo Walk will be a TFP (Trade-For-Print) with a few models. We'll get the opportunity to photograph some models with the supervision of local photographer May Shi.
'Time for Print', or 'TFP', is an arrangement between a model and a photographer, whereby the photographer agrees to provide the model pictures of the best photographs from the session in return for the model's time. This gives an opportunity for photographers and models to build their portfolios at low/zero cost.
All levels are welcome and mobile phone cameras are perfectly fine if you don't own a DSLR or mirrorless camera.
Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable shoes. Meet up location is at Alcove Centre for the Arts, just across the corner from 3rd St Station. Feel free to wait inside and enjoy some free tea.
*Under 18 must be accompanied by an adult guardian.
