In this playful session for children ages 5-12 and their caregivers, we will focus on strengthening developmental skills that promote learning in the elementary-aged years. We will work on things like promoting speech production, signing basic ASL, strengthening gross motor skills, peer interactions, attending in a group setting, and practicing self-expression in a safe space for children to grow at their own pace. All groups will also spend time focusing on emotional regulation tools. Using music, they can display anticipation skills and strengthen emotional connections with caregivers. *Group sessions will be limited to 10 children and their caregivers.
*Caregivers will be provided with a Spotify playlist of songs we use in-session for promoting musical play in between sessions.
*Assessment will be ongoing and session highlights will be shared with each individual family once a month.
*Sessions are weekly on Saturdays at 9 a.m. and will be held at Pivotal Dance Academy in Buda.
*The cost is $35 per session and will be billed monthly.
