Kambo is known as warrior medicine and is a healing ritual that comes from South America. It has been used by indigenous tribes for many centuries. Kambo medicine is a frog venom produced by the Giant Monkey Tree Frog (Phyllomedusa bicolor) found in the Amazon.
Kambo’s healing power is not only for physical illness. It has a potent emotional and spiritual effect as well. Beneficial for releasing trauma and energetic blockages that are stored in our physical bodies, festering into dis-ease and illness.To achieve healing, we need a medicine that can nourish all aspects of our being; Physical, emotional, mental and spiritual which is what Kambo does.
During a Kambo session, you might experience vomiting, nausea, swollen lips and face, or fainting. Every session is different, as well as each person's response. It's best to go into a session with an open heart and pure intention.
It is not recommended to sit with Kambo if you have any of the following health conditions:
