Come join us for a fun group hike at Maybury State Park! This event is perfect for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts looking to explore the beautiful trails and scenery of the park. We will meet at the Trailhead Shelter, near the parking lot, before taking the Paved Trail, which is 4.8 miles in length and has a rating of easy on Alltrails, a free hiking app. Average time to complete is about an hour and a half. The trail is mostly flat, with a few gentile hills, making it easy to push a stoller or pull a wagon. I will bring some bottled water & snacks to share. There is a "vault toilet" aka outhouse near the parking lot, as well as picnic shelters nearby, if you'd like to bring a picnic lunch.
