The Northern Lakes – big mountains and glorious lakes- walking at it’s finest. Our solos guided walking holiday provides a contrast to the Southern Lakes holidays we run from Ambleside, the terrain is perhaps wilder, but the walking, on a magnificent network of paths is stunning.

Our guided walking for solos programme is designed to give the walker the best of this beautiful countryside – and we have chosen some fabulous walks for you – walking in the natural beauty of the Lake District National park..
We walk on the first afternoon, then four more days. We have a packed lunch.
This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area. We stay at the Glaramara hotel close to the higher mountains of this iconic area. Fabulous service and food, complimenting our holiday in the area.
Walking is moderate, but with some steep sections. so plenty of ascending and descending – so you should be walking fit.
