The rolling Cotswolds hills and magnificent honey stone villages epitomise Cotswolds Beauty. Join our small group friendly guided walking solos holiday in a land of lovely deep river valleys, airy uplands and super views at every turn. Lovely village pubs and quiet by ways – the Cotswolds are one of England’s most beautiful landscapes and we take you to the heart of them on our walks.
We start walking on the first afternoon with a 2 hour leg stretcher, then walk for three days, normally finishing on the last day at about 2.30pm.
We say for three nights including New Years Evening, where the hotel run a gala dinner, disco and we see in the new year in style. We stay at the Stratton House Hotel close to Cirencester. A lovely country house hotel with excellent food for your breakfast and evening dinner.
We lunch in one of the Cotswolds historic country inns. This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area.
Walking is moderate, some ascending and descending – there are valleys after all, and you should be walking fit.
