The Malvern Hills have been described as a mountain range in miniature – with stunning views in all directions across the surrounding countryside. Our solos guided walking holiday takes in the eight mile long Malverns ridge which contains some of the oldest rocks in Britain. Their craggy outline is reminiscent of the uplands further west into Wales.
Our guided walking for solos programme is designed to give the walker the best of this white peak country – and we have chosen some fabulous walks for you – walking in the natural beauty of the dales.
We walk on the first afternoon, then two more days. We lunch in one of the Malvern Hills historic country inns. This holiday is run by local guides who have a vast knowledge of this beautiful area. We stay at the Abbey Hotel , in the centre of Great Malvern, close to iconic Worcestershire Beacon. Dinner is a feature of our Malvern’s experience.
Walking is moderate, some ascending and descending – the Malvern Hills have a couple of steep, short climbs after all, and you should be walking fit.
