About this Event
The group exhibition almost is an open invitation to question the conventional
understanding of ‘being successful’ as a practice shaped by individual traits and to
explore it as a societal condition with its problematic symptoms, underlying logics, and
everyday manifestations. Swinging back and forth between labor and leisure, aspiration
and exhaustion, subject and society, and ultimately success and failure, the exhibition
plays with the painfully familiar tension of (un)becoming in a system that never stops
performing.
* The exhibition will be open to visitors from 18.02. 2025. However, during its first month,
the show will function as an evolving space, challenging the concept of an exhibition as
a final product and actively transforming through four workshops. There will be no typical
exhibition opening. Instead, we invite you on 21.03.2025 to the ‘almost-opening’ (or in
more professional terms, the ‘Midissage’) and to the first Open Studio Day with the new
STUDIO DAS WEISSE HAUS artists!
