This session focuses on factors that impede group effectiveness, and factors that can set your group on the path to effectively lead change.
About this Event

We are all apart of various groups and teams – some are very high functioning while others leave us wondering why we even continue to be engaged. But why are some groups, committees, teams more effective than others? This special session is focused on how groups and teams function, the important role that communication plays as a key indicator of group success, and how to detect when things are about to go awry so that you can intervene before it’s too late. Learn practical tools to help you navigate and lead the groups/teams you are part of, both personally and professionally, and walk away with a greater understanding of group dynamics - what factors can impede group effectiveness, what factors can help set a group up for success, and how to pull together the right group of people to effectively lead community change.
