Join us for our first group dog walk! Co-hosted by Jumping Bean Mustangs LLC, we are so excited to be offering group walks to help build our community, and offer a safe space for dog owners to get together and walk their dogs in a neutral environment. Please note:
*RSVP is through Facebook only to help be prepared for the number of people and dogs who may be there. Please RSVP through this event link.
*These walks are for ALL dogs! Yes, even reactive pups. We ask that you please keep in mind what's best for you and your dog. Is your dog a bite risk? If necessary, please muzzle your dog to prevent any accidents. You are more than welcome to join us for these walks without your dog to get a feel for the environment before you decide to have your pup join in. If you need help with training, please reach out to Jumping Bean Mustangs LLC to get started on your training journey! Please keep your dog on a leash for these walks. We prefer leashes no greater than 6ft in length. Retractable leashes are strongly advised against.
*Before joining us at the park, please remember that your dog will be around women, men, children, babies, strollers, and other dogs, etc. These walks are strictly casual and you are responsible for you and your own dog(s). Trail Waggers Pet Care and Jumping Bean Mustangs LLC are not responsible for any accidents or injuries that may occur on your walk.
*We strongly advise that puppies who have not yet received their rabies vaccines sit out on these walks until their vaccinations are completed. Building your puppy's immune system safely at home, with veterinary required vaccinations are best for you and your dog!
What are our goals for this walk?:
*Neutrality is the #1 goal for our dogs on these walks. We want to keep play and barking to a minimum (while remembering that these habits take time to break!). Sniffing and saying hello is bound to happen, but we ask that you please be mindful of all the many reasons others may be joining us here.
*Community is so important for both humans and our pets. We'd love for this to become a friendly community, and look forward to all of our walks together! We hope you make friends with all of us throughout these events!
*Knowledge on training and what method/s work best for your dog will be learned overtime throughout these walks. Having a trainer co-host these events means you will be able to receive small tips and tricks to help you and your dog become more confidents while out and about!
