Join our Korean Culinary Classes and bring the Pocha experience home!
The Korean Cultural Center is organizing Korean culinary classes themed around ‘Anju: dishes usually enjoyed with drinks’. We've put together dishes that are commonly enjoyed in Korea when people gather around and have drinks. You might have seen them in K-dramas and films!

Program:
- (Monday) October 6 : Gamja Jeon(savory Korean pancake made with potatoes, pan-fried until crispy) and seasoned green onion salad
- (Monday) October 13 : Dubu Kimchi(Korean tofu served with stir-fried kimchi)
- (Monday) October 20 : Dubu Beoseot Jeongol(Korean style stew made with tofu, mushrooms and vegetables)
*We advise you to bring an apron and a container to take away your dishes.
Instructor: Chef Yun Lee
Yun Lee is a Korean cuisine specialist appointed by the Korean Food Promotion Institute. She finished both the Korean Royal Cuisine and Royal Dessert courses in Seoul, in 2019.
Tuition Fee (includes ingredients for 3 sessions ): 75 EUR
Participation Criteria: Open to all residents of Belgium (excluding Korean nationals)
Registration: You will be able to register from Wednesday August 6, 2025 at 12:00 PM
Conditions
- Each group is limited to 12 participants, and registration will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
- A maximum of 5 people can be added to the waitlist on Eventbrite.
- After registering, you will receive an email from Eventbrite with instructions for completing the full payment.
- To secure your spot, payment must be made within three days.
- Any registration that has not been paid within this period will be automatically canceled.
- Only the person who enrolled can attend. Please note that we don’t allow handing over your registration to others.
Refund Policy
A refund will be exceptionally granted in the following cases:
- Cancellation of classes by the Korean Cultural Center
- Emergency hospitalization (medical certificate required)
Allergens
We primarily use Korean fermented products based on soy and sesame, so please note potential allergens (soy, gluten, sesame).
